Who we are
What's the Vibe (the “Service”) is operated by WHAT'S THE VIBE, LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we,” “us”). Questions about this policy: anna@whatsthevibe.shop.
What we collect
Account information: your email address and a password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see or store your password in plain text. Content you submit: photos you upload, links to public social posts you add, votes, saves, and venue submissions. Usage events: interactions such as page views, votes, saves, and shopping link clicks, recorded as analytics events tied to your account or device. Device data: if you use location features (such as “Near me”), your browser shares your approximate location with us only at the moment you allow it; we do not store a location history.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run facial recognition, and we never analyze images belonging to third-party creators. Automated analysis of photos (to suggest clothing tags) runs only on photos you yourself upload, only with the rights confirmation you give at upload, and looks at garments — never at faces or biometric characteristics.
Third-party content and services
Posts from TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and the web are embedded or linked via those platforms' official tools; loading them may share your IP address and device information with those platforms under their own privacy policies. Shopping links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission, and the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies. Our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, analytics) process data on our behalf.
Your choices
You can use the Service signed out, in which case preferences are kept only in your browser's local storage. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our data deletion page. You can decline location prompts and the Service still works.
Retention and security
We keep account data while your account exists and delete it on verified request. Analytics events are kept in aggregate form. Access to production data is restricted and protected by row-level security.
Changes
We will post any material changes to this page and update the date above. This Service is not directed to children under 13.
